Lahaina Inn
127 Lahainaluna Rd. Maui, Hawaii
This is not a fancy hotel if your looking for a hotel with 24 hour concierge or room service, this is not the place for you. There is no valet, and parking is a block away (though you can unload your bags in front of the hotel and leave them at the desk while you park). Parking cost is $15.00 per day.
This is perfect if your looking for romantic and convienient. Walking distance to the beach, bars, shopping and restaurants. Each room is unique and quirky. When booking be sure to check the kind of room you want, there are some rooms with twin beds. Most beds are full beds, some of the junior suites have queen beds. The suites are about the size of your average hotel room, and the regular rooms are a tight squeeze for the bed and dresser. All the rooms are on the second floor, and the only way up is the staircase. There is no one at the front desk after 7pm and the front door locks, but there is a number you can call to get the door code. If you’re arriving late the same number will send a person down to assist in check in.

We loved our stay here, Sheryl at the front desk was great and very helpful. All the rooms have a balcony with rocking chairs, our balcony overlooked the water (from the side). It was small but cozy. I would stay here again.
Follow up – Sadly this hotel was destroyed by the fires that swept through Lahaina.
