We visited in July. The weather was very pleasant, I wore a light jacket in the evening. Bring good walking shoes.

Below are a few fun places we found.

Toronto

CN Tower

Great touristy place for awesome views of the city.   Be sure to check out the glass floor where you can look directly down to the ground.

360 Restaurant- located at the top of the CN tour, friendly service amazing views with the restaurant on a turn table to can take time to see the entire city.   There is a $75.00 minimum per person , which is not difficult to make as the food is pricey.   The shrimp cocktail was delicious but the prime rib and pork loin were pretty disappointing.

The staff was great, everyone from the elevators to wait staff were fabulous.

Sin & Redemption

Looking for a fun place to grab a beer after confession or mass?   Just cross the street to this cute little bar that serves food and one of the best beer selections you will see.

Hair of the Dog

This fun little hole in the wall serves food and drinks.    Cozy place with great drinks and friendly service.

Chew Chew Grill

Railroad theme diner with delicious breakfast, low prices and great service.

The Parlour

Eclectic decor, inside and outside seating, look for the sandwich boards as the entrance is hard to find.    Great drinks and fun pizza selections.

The Queen and Hound

Inside and outside seating, order the bread and ham appetizer is a meal by itself.   We had the fish pie as an entree and shared it, that with the bread was plenty of food we even brought some in a box for later.  Great drinks and service.

Chelsea Hotel

Very busy hotel in a fabulous location.   Nice pool area, most rooms have balconies, though the views were mostly of construction.  Surrounded by restaurants and bars so you don’t have to go far to get food or drinks.

Hampton Inn

Quiet hotel with comfortable quiet rooms a little far from the touristy areas, but still has some nice restaurants and bars in walking distance.

Toronto Harbor Tour

There are plenty of Harbor Tours to choose from with lots of price and time options.   We chose the Toronto Harbor Tours.  Out guide Matt was fabulous and really knew the area.   We sailed around the islands and heard lots of fun interesting stories about the history.

Simona

Beautiful restaurant inside and outside seating with gorgeous harbor views.   A little high end and pricey, but the food was delicious and worth the price.

Salt Beauty and Company

If you need a hair touch up while there call Salt Beauty Company and ask for Nicole.   She did a great job with my hair coloring and was great fun to talk to.

Beaver Tails

Check out these delicious, decadent treats

Hockey Hall of Fame

Everything hockey, many of the players jerseys and other equipment, an interesting movie about hall of famers, a chance to play a little of the game without the ice skates,   And have your picture taken with the real Stanley cup.
